So it is an awesome trip. I went right through security at Atlanta and met Ryan at the gate. It was neat to have someone that I knew. Once I got on the plane I found a row of three seats that I was able to claim so I was set I stretched out on my “sofa” the whole flight. The flight was great and I watched a movie and read a little. I decided that trying to look out the windows of a plane is like one of those animals with the eyes on the side of its head trying to look forward, looking back and forth. I met a girl on my flight that was going to Melbourne University and turns out she had a group of 80 on the plane with us. The plane was 80% college students and we all had a blast getting to know each other and finding out everyone's story. All of the students are really wild on the plane and a lot of fun.(it helped that the airline serves free drinks over international waters) The plane was the nicest I had ever been on. There were TV screens for each seat! It was really crowded and I thought I was going to have to stay in me seat next to this women that wasn't friendly. The flight attendant told me to, “have a stroll around the plane and find something with more room”, in a really cool Aussie accent. I found a seat on the bulk head with more room that was a lot better.

A few more pics of the shows!

Australian Zoo

First week impressions

So its been forever and I know I havent gotten around to keeping you updated. My only thought is that this is a good sign. I have been so busy that I truly haven't had time.(plus the internet down here is a little tricky) But anyways, Ive finally got it under control and will try to post regularly. The uni is great, class started yesterday and I finally had a wakeup call that this is not just a vacation. The people where I live around are amazing and Ive made more friends than I could have ever imagined. Remebering names is the biggest problem of the day! I had a realization of how relaxed it is here when one day my whole agenda of things to do was get ping pong balls for the table...that it!!! What an amazing life. We just finished O week or orientation week, which is Australian for parties. The events they had lined up were a blast. I sent a few pics to give you an idea. The Hawaii night was my favorite!!! The beaches are beautiful and Im starting to pic up surfing. Anyways please send me an email soon to keep in touch. Talk to you soon.
